Now on to the real stuff...

I have officially finished 3rd year!! I had my last 3rd year core test yesterday morning in surgery and let me just tell you it feels great to be finally done. Surgery was ok; I really liked all of the specialities especially Peds Surg. The last 3 weeks I was back on general surgery and it was kinda brutal but I got through it somehow. So what now you may ask? Starting Monday I am going to be taking classes in Manhattan at the Kaplan center for the next month studying for my Step 2. After the BIG test, I will be doing what I have been dying to do...electives in pediatrics. I get to finally do what I wanted to do all along...work with kids.

The wedding plans are going well; trying to finalize our reception sites and catering plans. I wanted to have everything sorted out before I started studying but plans and timing never goes the way you want.

I am posting some pics from 4th of July when we went to a very fun BBQ at one of Nat's fellow resident's house. Also there is a pic of Nat and I from last night; we had a fancy shmancy dinner at Il Cantorini for restaurant week in Manhattan.
