Puppy in LA

Last week I went home for the 1st time since Xmas to take my Step 2 CS. First of all, I loved being home!! It was beautiful weather and it just felt so good to be back. I decided to take the puppy along since Nat had also gone home to San Fran last week. On the way out to Cali, I tried to drug the puppy with children's Benadryl before the flight. Let's just say that it totally backfired; she was awake and crying the entire trip; it was really hard dealing with her. When we finally did get to LA, the puppy had tired herself out so much that I had to wake her up to meet my parents. When my parents did meet finally meet her, they absolutely fell in love with her. My dad fell the hardest; he wanted her to stay in Pasadena and not come back to NY! Anyways, about the test...I took my Step 2 CS in El Segundo on Friday. The test went well, just really really long, I was there from 730am until 4pm! The cases weren't that bad; the hardest part was coming up with 5 differential diagnoses. So overall, I think the test went well...hopefully! The rest of the trip was great...I got to spend time with my parents and my grandma . On the trip home I decided not to drug the puppy and she did amazingly well. She slept the entire flight...I was so shocked and relieved. I can't wait to go back to LA and I think the puppy feels the same way.
