City of Brotherly Love
This past weekend I finally made it out to visit Linzy in Philly. Luckily, Nat let me take Carib with me to show her off to Linz and everyone else else in Philly. I took the NJ transit to Trenton, NJ where I switched to the Septa train which took me to Philly. It was a long trip but both of us handled it pretty well. After we dropped off our stuff at Linzy's beautiful apartment, we went to famous Gino's for an even more famous Philly cheese steak. Let's just say it was a total gut bomb...don't get me wrong, it was good but very very filling and I got really tired after I ate it, hehe. After that, we decided to do a little shopping followed by a wonderful dinner in the city. Sunday, I was woken up very early by my little friend who got lonely being holed up in Linz's bathroom. Later on that day, Linz took me to the infamous King of Prussia mall which is supposed to have a larger retail area than the Mall of America. It was huge; we got to see about 1/25 of it because we decided to have some lunch instead of shop but man, it was just enormous. After lunch, Linz was nice enough to drive me and the puppy to Trenton so I wouldn't have to take too many trains. Overall, it was a very fast but great trip to Philly. It was wonderful seeing Linz again and getting to hang out with her. The puppy handled the whole trip beautifully, she couldn't have been any better. Unfortunately, I forgot to take my camera so I couldn't take any pics in Philly...but I'll have all of the memories!! (cheesy enough?).
