Reposting!

Once again I wrote a very long email about my trials and tribulations that happened last week and I thought it posted but nevertheless it did not. I should have taken Susie's advice and written the entry first in WORD and then posted it...oh well, now I know for next time.
In a nutshell, last week was a very trying week. We saw a child get hit by a bus and we had to do a history on a man who was paralyzed from the waist down and was pretty much just waiting for the sepsis to take him.
Update: We spoke officers on friday and gave them our statement as to what had happened and they told us that the case mya go to court so we might have to testify. That should be very interesting to see Vincentian law in practice. Also, we heard today from a fellow student that the little boy that was hit by a bus on thursday did not have a punctured lung, he had many broekn bones and was taken to have a CT scan done on friday due to his state of disorientation upon admission to the hospital.
This weekend was pretty uneventful. I studied, went to a friend's place for a little beer pong and then studied some more. Today, we got a huge stack of more notes: derm, endo and new pharm stuff...not looking forward to all the work I have ahead of me!!
So as my away message says..it is just another monday!
