Last 2 weeks before the wedding RECAP

So it's all over!!!! The craziness of all the planning, decision making and partying is all done! The craziness started when I flew out to CA right after my parents left NY after my graduation. 2 weeks before the wedding, I had a ton of stuff to do...Tuesday I had a trial hair appointment, Wednesday I had my final dress fitting, Thursday I had a meeting with the wedding planner to finalize the timeline then Saturday rolled around which was my Bachelorette party!! Linzy, my MOH, had planned the entire thing so I really had no idea what was really going on. Most of my bridesmaids made it out, including Anna and Brook who flew in just for the occasion. We started off the day with lunch at a cafe in Malibu right on the beach which was only perfected with the amazing 80 degree weather. At lunch we were lucky enough to get the biggest piece of chocolate cake I have ever seen...it was sinfully good. After lunch we headed to the Malibu Canyon Winery which was totally not what I expected. It was so pretty and very peaceful. After sharing a bottle of wine, we headed back to my parents house to get ready for the nighttime portion of the evening. We ended up at The Green Door in Hollywood. The ambiance was nice and the food was good but the service and the staff were complete bullsh*t! Whenever we asked for martinis, we were automatically given Grey Goose without even having been asked or told we were paying for it. A 25% tip was included to our tab without being told even though the waiter was way weird! Anyways, we still had some drinks and danced the night away (even though at times we were the only ones on the dance floor, he he) and had a great time. The girls made their way back to my parents house to crash, eat a wonderful breakfast and rehash the night. Mind you this entire event happened on my dad's birthday and mother's day!! I had such a good time with all for the girls and it really brought all of us closer before the wedding. Monday was the last normal day until the proverbial sh*t hit the fan...stay tuned to next post for further details!
